Privacy Policy

Last updated: 8 March 2026

At paynk.tattoo and www.paynk.space (“we”, “us”, or “our”), we respect your privacy and handle personal data in accordance with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”). The PDPA is Singapore’s baseline data protection law for organisations handling personal data.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and how you may contact us about it.

1. Personal data we collect

We may collect personal data that you provide to us when you contact us or make a booking, including:

  • your name

  • your email address

  • your phone number

  • the content of your enquiry or booking request, including your tattoo ideas and any information you choose to share with us

Under the PDPA, personal data includes data about an individual who can be identified from that data, whether held electronically or in other forms.

2. How we collect your data

We may collect your personal data through:

  • our contact form

  • our booking form or booking flow

  • our online booking platform

  • messages or interactions triggered through embedded social media content such as Instagram or TikTok, where applicable

3. Why we collect and use your data

We collect and use your personal data for purposes a reasonable person would consider appropriate in the circumstances, including:

  • responding to your enquiries

  • reviewing and managing booking requests

  • contacting you about your appointment or booking

  • communicating with you about your tattoo idea or consultation

  • maintaining basic internal booking and client records

  • operating and improving our website and booking process

Under Singapore’s PDPA, organisations should collect, use, or disclose personal data only for purposes the individual has consented to or that are otherwise permitted, and only for purposes that a reasonable person would consider appropriate.

4. Booking platforms and third parties

We may share your personal data with third-party service providers only where reasonably necessary to operate our website and booking process, such as:

  • our booking software provider

  • our website hosting or technical service providers

  • embedded third-party platforms such as Instagram or TikTok, to the extent their content or tools are used on our site

Where third-party services are used, your information may also be subject to those third parties’ own privacy practices.

5. Cookies and embedded content

Our website may include embedded content or features from third-party platforms such as Instagram or TikTok. These services may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser information, or interaction data, and may use cookies or similar technologies according to their own policies.

6. Consent

By submitting your information through our website, you consent to our collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, subject to applicable law.

Under the PDPA, individuals must generally be allowed to withdraw consent with reasonable notice, and organisations should then stop collecting, using, or disclosing personal data unless another legal basis applies.

7. Access, correction, and deletion

You may request to:

  • access personal data we hold about you

  • correct personal data that is inaccurate or incomplete

  • withdraw consent to our use of your personal data

  • request deletion of your personal data, subject to any legal or operational need for us to retain certain records

To make such a request, please contact us at sharon@paynk.space.

The PDPA includes obligations relating to access and correction, and also requires organisations to stop retaining personal data when it is no longer needed for legal or business purposes.

8. Protection of personal data

We take reasonable steps to protect the personal data in our possession or under our control against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal, or similar risks. The PDPA requires organisations to make reasonable security arrangements to protect personal data.

9. Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, or as required by applicable law or legitimate business needs. Singapore’s PDPA requires organisations to stop retaining personal data when it is no longer necessary for legal or business purposes.

10. International transfers

Some of our service providers may process or store data outside Singapore. Where personal data is transferred overseas, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that the data continues to receive a standard of protection comparable to that required under Singapore law. Singapore’s PDPA contains a transfer limitation obligation for overseas transfers of personal data.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
